GCC-USABDA Well-Represented at SE Regional Comp in Atlanta

Two couples from the Greater Columbia Chapter of USABDA competed in the Southeastern Regional USABDA competition in Atlanta, October 25-26, 2002.  Tom and Linda Jowers, and Mike Verdone and Grace Keller participated in this qualifying event for the USABDA national championships.  Both couples earned high marks in their events and had the privilege of watching and competing with the best amateur dancers in the southeast.  Because Atlanta is so close, the  Southeastern Regional competition is an excellent opportunity to watch, learn, and get feedback on your progress as a dancer.  Mike, Grace, Tim and Linda encourage all local USABDA members to plan to attend next year.

Thanksgiving "Left Overs" Dance!

Don't forget that traditionally our 4th Saturday dance in November has been a Thanksgiving leftovers dance!

This year, however, Thanksgiving comes especially late.

Now's the time to try out that new recipe before the family comes over.  Give it to us!  We'll eat anything!
