There were 75 people at the November 12th dance and 45 people at the November 26th dance.

After December, Naomi Mart will no longer keep our tablecloths clean. We need someone who is able to wash the tablecloths after each dance and get them to The Barn before the next dance.

The subjects discussed at the November 13th Board Meeting were French Night, USC Dance-Sport exhibition at Lexington High School, USA Dance Annual Report, length of lessons and the need for a defibrillator. The next Board Meeting will be 3:00 PM, December 11th at the Richland County Library. All members in good standing are welcome.

The only dance in December is our semi-formal on December 10th. Remember to bring a gift for child to be distributed to a local charity before December 25th.

For the third year in a row, Paul Lagatore of Columbia’s Ballroom Company has been asked to perform with the SC Philharmonic. Paul’s performing partner will be Susie Thompson, a five time USA Latin champion. They will perform a Viennese Waltz as part of the ‘Viennese New Year’ program at the Koger Center on January 7, 2006, at 7:00 PM. Joyce Lagatore will have tickets for anyone who would like to attend.

French Night was a big success with fourteen members of Alliance Francaise attending the dance. We especially want to thank the sponsors: Alliance Francaise de Columbia, Boyd Davis, World Affairs Council of Columbia, The Gourmet Shop, Inc., Red Bank Hair Express and Donna Swinbank.
